Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is diploid (2n) and belongs to the Ackerklee type. It possesses a high capacity for tillering, forming a significant number of nodes and lateral shoots. Dry matter yield is characterized as stable.

The plant demonstrates resistance to the fungal pathogen Aphanomyces and often serves as a control sample in drought tolerance studies. The leaves of the variety are distinguished by a high content of isoflavones and polyphenols, as well as pronounced polyphenol oxidase enzyme activity.

Used in grass mixtures for the establishment of seeded meadows and pastures. Trials of the variety were conducted in a number of European countries, as well as in the conditions of the Leningrad Region.
