The variety was obtained by crossing diploid genotypes followed by colchicine polyploidization. It belongs to tetraploid forms, which ensures superiority in green and dry mass yield over diploid varieties.

The plant is used as a forage crop for silage and hay harvesting, as well as in grass mixtures for pastures with a 3–5-year cycle of use. The variety is characterized by rapid growth, high resistance to trampling, significant weight of inflorescences, and an increased level of flavonoids.
