The variety is tetraploid and was obtained as a result of crossing foreign breeding material with local lines. The plants possess large, deep green leaves, as well as longer and thicker hollow stems compared to diploid varieties. The leaves and stems are characterized by weak pubescence and high leafiness.

The variety belongs to the mid-early group and is a two-to-three-cut type. It is suitable for short-term use in meadows and pastures. In addition to high green mass and seed productivity, the variety shows good results in dry matter yield and is characterized by high operational longevity.
