The variety is a hexaploid form and has a facultative type of development, which allows it to be grown as both a winter and spring crop. The plant is characterized as mid-tall and is suitable for food production purposes.

The variety is distinguished by increased adaptability to difficult vegetation and overwintering conditions, as well as high drought tolerance. Potential grain yield is 9–12 t/ha. On highly fertile soils under conditions of excessive moisture, there may be a tendency to lodging.

The grain possesses high bread-making properties and good gluten and dough characteristics. The variety is specifically adapted for late-season sowing, for example, after the harvest of corn or soybeans.
