The variety was bred in France as a result of crossing (Blé Bohémien × Blé Seigle) × Oro / Variant de Hauters 1. The variety was deposited in genetic banks in 1972 and is known in scientific literature primarily as breeding material.
The plant possesses a high or moderate level of resistance to Fusarium head blight and is also resistant to damage by the cereal leaf beetle. The variety is not intended for wide commercial cultivation and is used for transferring resistance genes to other wheat lines.
