Triticum aestivum L. Bread wheat · Agricultural · bred by Florimond Desprez Veuve et Fils, FR

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the varieties Prinqual and Cornette. The glutenin composition contains high-molecular-weight subunits with the formula 17+18 and 5+10, which determines the baking properties of the grain. The variety is often used as a standard when evaluating the quality characteristics of other wheat and spelt varieties.

The genetic profile of the variety includes genes providing resistance to specific pathotypes of yellow rust Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici. The plant is classified as a modern pure line.
