Dijana is a winter soft wheat variety developed within the breeding programs of Bc Institut d.d. Zagreb. In the institute's documentation, the variety appeared as one of the early developments aimed at creating crops with broad adaptability to various agro-climatic conditions.
During breeding trials, the variety demonstrated increased resistance to powdery mildew and was among the institute's best developments of its period. Detailed morphological characteristics and technical grain quality indicators were not presented in open sources.
