Elite-lepeuple is a tall winter wheat variety with a lax awnless or short-awned ear. The grain has a white-yellow color and is characterized by a low thousand kernel weight.
The variety possesses very high resistance to lodging. Low susceptibility to Septoria, yellow rust and brown rust is noted. In genetic studies, it is classified as a winter form containing specific alleles of Vrn genes responsible for vernalization.
