The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Svitava and Acclaim. Botanically it belongs to the lutescens variety, in some catalogs it may be listed as erythrospermum.
In scientific literature and field trials, the variety is often used as a standard sample. Studies involving it cover issues of resistance to Fusarium head blight and smut diseases, as well as an assessment of factors affecting yield and grain quality.
