The variety is the result of breeding work at the Gabonakutató Nonprofit Kft. institute in the city of Szeged. The wheat pedigree is based on a combination of genetic material from lines GK 144 and GK 150.

The plant is characterized by yield stability and suitability for baking production. During trials in China, the variety demonstrated resistance to yellow rust.
