The variety was obtained by hybridization according to the scheme Zágrábi 241 / GK Öthalom // Mv17 / GK Öthalom. Selection of breeding material at early stages of segregation was carried out in Finland to ensure high resistance to environmental factors.

The variety is characterized by high yield and is used in commercial crops. In scientific literature, the variety is considered in the context of trials for resistance to diseases, in particular to Fusarium head blight.
