The variety was obtained by crossing lines with different maturity periods followed by repeated selection. The plant is characterized by tall stature and belongs to the mid-late maturity group. The variety is intended for cultivation under intensive production conditions.

Thousand kernel weight is 39–40 g, grain test weight is 80 kg/hl. The grain has a slightly elongated rounded shape. Wet gluten content is 29–31%.

The variety possesses moderate resistance to leaf rust and Fusarium rust, as well as low susceptibility to stem rust and leaf spot.
