The variety HAYDOCK is a spring wheat obtained by breeders at the British PBI institute. Its lineage is based on a cross between the varieties Sicco and Sandown.
In scientific studies, the variety is noted for the presence of genetic traits on chromosome 4A, which provide resistance to Septoria, characteristic of spring wheats of this breeding period.
