Hodoninska Holice is a winter variety whose genetic material was actively used to create other Czech varieties, including Hodonínská osinatka, as well as the Lada variety. The variety appears in complex hybrid combinations, including those involving the Koga and Diana varieties.
Morphologically, the variety is long-stemmed, which results in a risk of lodging under intensive soil fertilization. The grain has a light brown or light red shade. Given that the variety is historical and not used in commercial production, complete agronomic characteristics are absent from open reference sources.
