The Horzal variety is studied in scientific literature primarily from the perspective of engineering, technical, and physical parameters of the grain, including its flowability, density, Young's modulus, and internal friction angle. This data is applied to modeling grain storageprocesses in silos and designing grain elevators.
In experimental work, the variety is also used as a model sample for analyzing the influence of wheat on broiler growth when enzyme preparations are added to feed. Within the framework of these studies, basic quality indicators are assessed: thousand kernel weight, protein level, and alpha-amylase activity.
