The wheat variety Jondolar was derived from crossing lines G 0017 and VDH 1166-76N. The plant has a medium-length straw with medium resistance to lodging. The grain is characterized by hardness, bread-making properties are evaluated as good or very good, and dough quality ranges from satisfactory to good.

The variety demonstrated stable yield, particularly on sandy and valley soils. During breeding trials, resistance to certain Septoria isolates was identified. The variety possesses a high capacity for regeneration when using anther culture methods to obtain doubled haploids.
