The Joni variety is included in the genetic collections of the Estonian Rural Research and Knowledge Centre. It is used in scientific work on the identification of high-molecular-weight glutenin subunits for the analysis of crop genetic diversity.
In available scientific materials, detailed agronomic characteristics, including data on yield, plant height, maturity dates, and disease resistance, are not presented.
