The variety was created by the method of individual selection from a hybrid population obtained by crossing the varieties Ditva and Galaktika. The plant is medium-tall, 110–112 cm in height. The ear is large, white, awnless, of medium density, contains 20–22 spikelets, and belongs to the lutescens botanical variety.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness (about 96.6%) and resistance to lodging. It shows high resistance to powdery mildew, brown rust, root rot and snow mold, and is moderately susceptible to common bunt.

The grain is large, light red, with a thousand kernel weight of 45.4–53.5 g and a test weight of 757 g/l. Protein content is 11.2%, gluten — 22.2%, flour yield — 75%. It is an intensive type variety, requiring a high level of agricultural management.
