Variety description

10 August 2026

The winter soft wheat variety Kris is known as genetic material, frequently used as a parent form in the breeding of new varieties, such as Gedser or Heroldo. In breeding practice, it is valued as a source of disease resistance, particularly to Septoria.

The plant has a winter growth habit and a mid-late heading date. The stem is of medium length, the ear is white, and the grain is red. Current data on yield or specific agronomic cultivation guidelines for the variety are absent in modern publications.
