The variety was obtained by crossing Kerrin and Costello. The plant reaches an average height of about 85 cm and has medium resistance to lodging, therefore the use of growth regulators is recommended. It is characterized by high tillering capacity and slow spring development, while possessing a wide sowing window from mid-September to the end of January.
The variety has high resistance to yellow rust and powdery mildew; the level of susceptibility to septoria is medium. It does not possess resistance to orange wheat blossom midge. Under field conditions, the variety demonstrates reliability, resistance to shattering and grain sprouting.
The grain is characterized by a high specific weight (79.6–80.2 kg/hl), protein content of 10.8–11.2%, and a falling number of 299–312. Its primary use is feed production; it may be used in the milling industry as part of blends.
