The variety was bred by individual selection in the F2 generation from a hybrid population of the varieties Shestopalovka, Barkan, and Rishelyevskaya. The plants reach a height of 80–90 cm and have a hollow, sturdy stem of medium thickness.
The ear is long (12–14 cm), cylindrical, white, of medium density, and belongs to the erythrospermum botanical variety. The variety is resistant to shattering and grain sprouting in the field, as well as to the main diseases of winter wheat.
The grain is large, with a thousand kernel weight of 45–50 g. The protein content reaches 15%, and the gluten content is up to 32%. The variety is intended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones; the seeding rate is 4–5 million germinating seeds per hectare.
