The variety was developed by hybridization of the Bilotserkivska variety «Перлина лісостепу» and the «Ермак» variety. The plant is medium-tall, 90–95 cm in height, with a semi-erect bush type. The spike is cylindrical in shape, white, medium density and long. The grain is red and characterized by large size; the thousand kernel weight is 41–48 g.
The variety possesses increased winter hardiness and high drought tolerance. It shows resistance to brown rust, Fusarium head blight, root rots, Septoria and powdery mildew. Potential yield reaches 9.3–9.8 t/ha; it is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones.
Classified as valuable wheat in terms of baking indicators. Protein content in the grain is 13.2–13.5%, crude gluten content is 27.0–27.5%. Bread volume is estimated in the range of 1000–1060 ml.
