Variety description

The variety is a winter form of wheat, requires vernalization and exhibits photoperiod sensitivity. The plant is characterized by a semi-dwarf type and the presence of awns, and possesses a medium level of winter hardiness.

The variety is resistant to common races of yellow rust and exhibits adult plant resistance at high temperatures. It has moderate resistance to eyespot and Fusarium root rot, while being characterized by low tolerance to Cephalosporium stripe and a lack of resistance to Septoria.

Intended for cultivation under moderate to high rainfall conditions, as well as on irrigated lands. In the Pacific Northwest US classification system, the variety is classified as possessing high milling and baking qualities.
