The variety is an awned winter wheat of medium-height type. The plant possesses high tillering capacity and a large number of grains per ear. In the stage of wax ripeness, the stem below the ear acquires a golden-yellow hue. The variety demonstrates high plasticity and lodging resistance, as well as good winter hardiness and high tolerance to brown rust, yellow rust, powdery mildew, and septoria.
The grain has a red color, a hard endosperm, and high vitreousness. The hectoliter weight is 81–83.8 kg/hl. Quality indicators include a crude protein content of about 14.8%, wet gluten content of 27–33.5%, sedimentation of 62–80 ml, and a falling number of about 389 seconds. The variety is intended for the production of high-quality flour.
