The soft wheat variety RADIKA was developed at the Institute of Agriculture and Vegetable Crops in Skopje, North Macedonia. It is included in variety trial documentation; however, detailed morphological descriptions, including plant height parameters or lodging resistance, are represented in open sources to a very limited extent.
In comparative scientific studies, the variety serves as a baseline object for comparison with more modern wheat breeding lines regarding technological indicators, such as flour yield and baking quality properties. The variety should be distinguished from a separate breeding line named Radika-2.
