The spring wheat variety Radocha is characterized by a high number of grains per ear. In the course of scientific research, this variety is frequently used to study the influence of genotype and growing conditions on technological quality parameters, including protein content, falling number, thousand kernel weight, and sedimentation values.
In phytopathological studies, the variety is classified as susceptible to Fusarium head blight. In a number of molecular biological studies, Radocha is used as a model object sensitive to the pathogen Fusarium culmorum.
