Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to winter wheat forms and is characterized by the presence of Rht-B1a/Rht-D1b dwarfing genes, which contributes to a reduction in stem height and increases lodging resistance. The plant was also considered in studies as an object for evaluating resistance to pathogen infection, including yellow rust.

The variety is historically known for its genetic characteristics used in breeding programs. It served as a parental form in the development of other wheat varieties, in particular the Cordiale variety.
