The variety is used in agricultural production, including for the production of bulk forage in mixtures with annual legumes. Studies note the content of phenolic compounds, antioxidant activity, and the variety's productivity under nitrogen deficiency conditions.
When grown in pure culture, a seeding density of 300–450 germinating seeds per square meter is recommended, which, at an average thousand kernel weight of about 40 g, corresponds to a seeding rate of 160 kg/ha. In mixed crops with forage legumes, it is recommended to reduce the seeding rate to 80 kg/ha.
