The Tsarivna variety belongs to the intensive type of wheat. The maximum yield of the variety reaches 8.8 t/ha. It is intended for cultivation using intensive agrotechnologies.
The Umanska tsarivna variety was obtained through interspecific hybridization of soft wheat with winter spelt and belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a vegetation period of 259–273 days. The plant possesses high resistance to shattering, brown rust, frit fly, as well as a complex of fungal diseases.
Grain of the Umanska tsarivna variety contains about 41% gluten. Flour strength indicators are 182–253 e.a., and bread volume from 100 g of flour varies from 840 to 970 ml. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia zone.
