The variety is semi-dwarf with an intermediate stem height. The spike is awned, strap-shaped, and loose. Leaf sheaths have a waxy bloom; auricles are purple and slightly pubescent. The grain is ovate, medium-long, and medium-wide with rounded cheeks.
The plant possesses good lodging resistance. At the time of release, it had resistance to stem rust and leaf rust, as well as powdery mildew, with moderate susceptibility to septoria. The variety is characterized as a soft wheat used for manufacturing products requiring soft flour.
