The variety was created through individual selection from the hybrid combination Поліська 90 / Мерлебен х Holger. The plant is characterized as medium-tall. The spike has a pyramidal shape, a loose structure, reaches 10–14 cm in length, and is covered with white awns 4.8–6.1 cm in size. The thousand kernel weight is 47–60 g.
The variety possesses resistance to lodging due to its stem structure, as well as resistance to brown rust, common bunt, and a number of pests with piercing-sucking mouthparts. It is adapted to stressful growing conditions and is distinguished by deep placement of the root collar and a branched root system.
The yield potential reaches 10 t/ha, the vegetation period is 281–289 days. The grain bulk density is in the range of 785–820 g/l. In addition to the baking industry, the grain is considered as promising raw material for dietary nutrition and bioethanol production.
