The variety is an important genetic resource that served as a base for the development of more advanced lines and varieties possessing improved plant height and lodging resistance traits. Due to its biological characteristics, it is currently considered an obsolete specimen.

The plant is distinguished by a tall stem and susceptibility to lodging. In phytopathological studies, the variety demonstrated resistance to stem rust at the seedling stage; its susceptibility to infection by fungi of the genus Fusarium was also studied. The grain possesses a hard vitreous endosperm.
