The variety Tirex is characterized as early-maturing and has an average stem height. The plant has a distinctive morphological feature — black awns.

The variety is distinguished by high plasticity, which allows it to adapt to various soil types, and demonstrates good resistance to low temperatures and major crop diseases. The seeding rate is 200–250 kg/ha.

The grain has quality characteristics suitable for processing into semolina, pasta flour, bulgur, and couscous. The variety is also mentioned in scientific research as a studied genotype of durum wheat.
