The variety is short to medium in height. Characteristic morphological features include the blackening of awns during the ripening period. The plant possesses high resistance to lodging, good winter hardiness, and genetic tolerance to powdery mildew, brown and yellow rust, septoria, and fusarium.

The grain is characterized by a protein content of 14–17%, a test weight of 81–85 kg/hl, and a thousand kernel weight of 57–59 g. The variety is distinguished by an intense yellow grain color and a good gluten index, making it in demand for pasta production.
