Lira odesskaya is a mid-season short-stemmed variety with a height of 86–92 cm. The ear is large, white, cylindrical, and of medium density. It belongs to the erythrospermum botanical variety with a red grain. The variety possesses high resistance to lodging, winter hardiness, as well as heat and drought tolerance. It is a strong and super-strong wheat variety with a protein content of 14.2–14.4% and gluten content of 29.5–33.1%.

Donskaya lira is a medium-tall variety with a height of 68–97 cm with a semi-erect bush. The ear is white, cylindrical, and of medium density. The variety is characterized by adaptability, good winter hardiness and drought tolerance, and is intended for cultivation in the Southern Federal District of Russia.
