The variety was obtained by crossing the McFarlin and Prolific varieties. The plant forms creeping shoots 15–30 cm in height. The variety is late-ripening; fruit ripening occurs in October.

The berries have a round shape, a diameter of 1.2–1.6 cm, and a weight of 1.0–1.4 g. The fruits are characterized by a dark red color, a sour taste, good keeping quality, and versatile use in cooking. The yield is 1–2 kg per bush.

The plant has high winter hardiness. The variety is often used as a ground cover plant in landscape design due to its decorative glossy leaves and bright fruits.
