The plant is a low-growing, evergreen, highly branched shrub with prostrate shoots 15–25 cm in height and small dark green leaves. The dark red fruits with a waxy bloom have a firm texture and a characteristic elongated teardrop shape.

The variety is a productive crop suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. The berries are suitable for processing and also possess high keeping quality, allowing them to maintain their quality and flavor when left on the bush from autumn until the spring period.
