The variety is a dwarf creeping evergreen shrub 10–15 cm in height, sometimes up to 30–45 cm. Thin, spreading shoots are capable of rooting quickly, creating dense carpets. The plant is self-fertile and does not require pollinator varieties; it prefers acidic, moist, well-drained soils and sunny locations.

Early-maturing variety: berries ripen from the end of August to the first half of September. The fruits are large, 1.7–2.5 cm in diameter, shiny, with a sweet-and-sour taste and slight bitterness. As they ripen, the color changes from red to dark purple or dark violet. The harvest stores and transports well.

The plant is frost-resistant and disease-resistant, although it may suffer frost damage in winters with little snow. Due to its creeping growth habit, the issue of lodging is not applicable to the variety. The fruits are consumed fresh and are suitable for processing into juices, fruit drinks, jams, compotes, and sauces, while the plant itself is used in landscape design as a groundcover culture.
