Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety forms a dense carpet of shoots 15–30 cm tall with small leathery leaves that take on a reddish or bronze hue in winter. In May–June, the plant blooms with small white-pink bell-shaped flowers.

The berries ripen in late September – October, reaching 20–25 mm in diameter and a mass of 2.1–2.8 g. The fruits are dark red with a waxy bloom and a violet tint, possessing a sweet-and-sour taste, good keeping quality, and transportability.

The plant has high winter hardiness (down to –30°C) and is self-pollinating. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation, as well as use in cooking and landscape design.
