The variety is the result of a cross between Early Black and Searles. The shrub is characterized by a trailing growth habit, reaching up to 20 cm in height and spreading up to 1 m in width. Berry ripening typically occurs in the first half of September.

The fruits have a slightly pear-shaped form, with their weight varying from 1 to 1.7 g. The variety is distinguished by high frost resistance and resistance to damage by the blunt-nosed leafhopper, as well as a relatively low susceptibility to fruit rot.

The berries are suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing. Due to its morphology, the plant can also be used in ornamental gardening as a groundcover crop.
