Variety description

10 August 2026

A compact herbaceous perennial, reaching a height of 30 to 45 cm during flowering. It forms a basal rosette of dark green or gray-green leaves and erect branched flower stalks with large lavender-shaded flowers with a dark center.

The flowering period occurs from late spring to the end of summer. The variety is a sterile hybrid and does not produce seeds with parental traits. The plant is cold-hardy (USDA zones 5–9), drought-tolerant, prefers well-drained soils and full sun, and does not require support.

Used for decorative purposes for planting in borders, rock gardens, and containers; the flowers are suitable for cutting. There is a risk of confusion with the foxglove variety of the same name, so when choosing, it is important to consider the botanical classification within the genus Verbascum.
