The Aramon blanc variety is a white-berry natural mutation of the classic French grape Aramon. During the ripening process, the berries acquire a yellow-green hue, and when overripe, they can become gray. The clusters and berries of this variety are distinguished by their very large size.
As a wine grape variety, it has very high productivity. Wines produced from it are characterized by lightness, low alcohol content, and low extract levels. The variety is sensitive to spring frosts due to early bud break and a late ripening period.
