The variety is a vigorous plant. Leaves are medium-sized, five-lobed, medium- to deeply-dissected, rugose, with heavy tomentose pubescence on the underside. Bunches are medium-sized, conical, branched, ranging from medium-dense to dense.

Berries are small, dark violet in color, covered with a heavy bloom, and have thick skin and juicy flesh. Berry maturity occurs at the end of September. Vine ripening is good, yield is high, requiring thinning to achieve high quality of wine material.

The variety's resistance to fungal diseases is at the level of other European representatives of the species Vitis vinifera. Wines from this variety are characterized by richness, balance, the presence of mature tannins, and have aging potential.
