The variety has medium-vigorous vines with upright growth. Leaves are large, five-lobed, pentagonal in shape. Clusters are large and loose, berries are medium-sized, round, and covered with thin light greenish-yellow skin.

The variety has high and stable yields and is well adapted to mechanical harvesting. It is drought-tolerant, but tolerates excess moisture poorly and is sensitive to wood diseases, downy mildew, powdery mildew, mites, and grey mold.

Wines from this variety are characterized by a fresh fruity aroma with notes of apple, pear, and citrus. The berries contain a large amount of resveratrol, which increases their resistance to oxidation and allows the variety to be used for long aging in oak barrels.
