The variety is a hybrid of the Trollinger and Pinot varieties. The vine has moderate vigor, with bunches and berries of medium or above-medium size. The berry flesh is juicy, melting, with a light muscat aroma.
The variety ripens very early, approximately 14 days before the Chasselas blanc variety. The best yield indicators are achieved with cordon and palmette training. The plant is sensitive to adverse conditions and does not possess high complex disease resistance.
Intended primarily for fresh consumption, less frequently used as an ornamental plant or for winemaking in northern regions.
