The variety is the result of breeding work, presumably obtained from a cross between the Emperor and Dawn Seedless varieties. The grape is characterized by a consistently high level of sugar content.
A key feature of the variety is the "soft-seeded" concept, where the presence of seeds does not create unpleasant sensations when consuming the fruit.
