The variety is a natural hybrid of the Amaral and Branco Escola varieties. The plant is a vigorous vine with semi-erect shoots. The leaves are medium-sized, heart-shaped, five-lobed with arachnoid pubescence on the underside. The flower is hermaphroditic.

The bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical, of moderate density. The berries are medium-sized, round, yellowish-green in color. The variety belongs to the medium or medium-late ripening period and is well adapted to the cool, humid Atlantic climate.

The variety has high and regular yields, but is extremely sensitive to gray mold, powdery mildew, downy mildew, and moisture deficit. The wine obtained from this variety is characterized by high acidity, moderate alcohol content, and notes of citrus, green apple, white flowers, and laurel.
