Variety description

The variety was obtained in 1966 from crossing the varieties Villard blanc and Queen of the Vineyards. Bushes are medium-vigorous, shoots grow vertically and ripen well. Shoot fertility is 80–95%, with an average of 1.4–1.9 clusters per shoot.

Clusters are conical in shape, loose, with a weight of 300–500 g. Oval berries weighing 3.5–6 g have an amber color, crisp flesh, and a sweet taste with a muscat aroma. Sugar content of the fruit is 18–19%, acidity is 6–7 g/l. The variety has a universal purpose.

The grapevine possesses high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, however, under unfavorable conditions, susceptibility to gray mold is possible. Frost resistance is in the range from -23°C to -26°C. Pruning to 6–8 buds is recommended with a total load per bush of 35–40 buds.
