Vines are vigorous with a semi-upright habit. Leaves are medium-sized, five-lobed, deeply dissected, reticulate-wrinkled, with heavy pubescence on the underside. Bunches are medium-sized, conical, often winged, of medium density. Berries are medium-sized, round, greenish-yellow in color, with thin skin.

The variety has a medium budburst and ripening period. Yield is high and stable. The grapes are susceptible to downy mildew, powdery mildew, Botrytis, and anthracnose, but adapt well to calcareous soils, are resistant to drought and heat, and are sensitive to wind.

The produce has a neutral aromatic profile, low acidity, and low sugar content. It is an improved variety of Palomino Basto and has synonyms Listan Blanco, Listan, and Malvasia Rei.
