The variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. and originates from the south of France. The vines are characterized by medium vigor. The bunches are medium-sized, conical in shape, and have variable density.
The berries are fairly large, oval or elliptical, white or golden-yellow in color, and often of uneven size within a single bunch. The skin is firm, the flesh is juicy and fleshy. The taste is simple and sweet.
The variety matures early, simultaneously with or slightly earlier than the Chasselas variety. It can be used in scientific research aimed at studying the vine's ability to produce an additional harvest on lateral shoots.
